TFT LCD Cell Configuration

The above image shows the typical structure of TFT LCD Cell.
Commonly, TFT LCD Cell is constructed by TFT Array Glass, Color Filter Glass. A layer of Liquid Crystal is placed between TFT Array Glass and Color Filter Glass. Light from Back Light goes through the Liquid Crystal layer and Upper Color Filter to display the color.
At this time, input voltage for pixel electrode(lower ITO) and common electrode (upper ITO)to change the state of Liquid Crystal and adjust the voltage with the TFT.

LCD Cell & Moudle Inspection System

Foreign materials on each glass plate, liquid crystal and TFT Array, or electrical problem can cause Dot, Line, Mura defects of BLU leading huge production losses If inspection is conducted manually, the quality of inspection may be differ and instable depending on skill, health and attitude of each operator.
With defect related data base accumulated during inspection process, this system is automatically operated in high speed and inspects very accurately.
Thus our customers will achieve high productivity and enhanced quality control.

Main features of this products.There are specific driving patterns for LCD. Therefore this system displays a pre-determined screen patterns and get relevant image with camera.
Powerful Image Processing Algorithm of Shonics determines whether this image has defect or not. For displaying patterns, this system is operated with Auto Probe and Pattern Generator

* This LCD Inspection System is available with two models, Stand Alone type and In-Line type. Compared to manual inspection, this system has many advantages such as higher level inspection and shorter tact time. These systems are widely adopted in Korea and China companies which achieve higher productivity and enhanced quality control.
